Classifying Aspects of Life as Fair vs Unfair is Extremely Debilitating…
There’s been times in my life, especially right now during this pandemic, where I contemplate what’s fair and what’s not fair. But thanks to a recent Tim Ferriss episode (https://tim.blog/2020/04/09/ryan-holiday-stoicism/) I realized that thinking in those binary terms is very debilitating because it puts you in the passenger seat of life. You have more control than you think and once you stop debating what’s just and unjust, you can begin to focus your energy towards that. In this episode, I expand upon this and give personal examples in my life. I also use this as a call to action for all of us to highlight the good and kind things people are doing because too often I find we use our megaphones for criticism rather than spreading the good news. Let’s stop and keep hope alive with stories of goodness. As such, please comment down below with any questions or thoughts that you may have. Or hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek. I’d love to hear from you.
