How Do We Create Meaningful & Lasting Change Within Society?…
In this episode, I pose a question to us all, which is how do we create meaningful and lasting change in our society. I open up with some self reflection about how I reacted to Texas and specifically Senator Ted Cruz’s response to the events happening there (https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/ted-cruz-fire-photo-ops-houston-controversial-mexico/story?id=76048828). This was a jumping off point for me because so much focus was spent on Ted versus helping people, or at least as I observed it. After recounting my experience and processing these thoughts, I open things up to the macro. I highlight the things I’m grappling with regarding social justice and such. Now, by now means do I claim to have the answers, which is exactly the point. I wanted to reflect and invite you to do the same.
