In Memory Of Pete Chvany – 9/13/2021: A Phil Svitek Vlog…
This past week I didn’t have any immediate tasks that needed to be completed for my upcoming film, which gave me time to both play and reflect. And thankfully I did have that time because mid week. I learned the news that one of my mentors, Pete Chvany, passed away. At the top of the episode I discuss the impact he had on my life and how I’m going about continuing his legacy. Then I discuss how I also reflected on the 20th anniversary of 9/11. Now, even though the episode opens heavily, I do transition afterwards to more lighter aspects like how taking time away from your projects and experiencing new things is beneficial, a little insight into my budgeting process and wisdom I’m gaining thanks to other filmmaker friends. There’s lots of nuggets in there for you to utilize, so enjoy. Thanks for tuning in. Also, feel free to ask questions or offer opinions of your own, whether down in the comment section or by hitting me up on social media @PhilSvitek.
