Knowledge is Like an Island, the Bigger the Island, the More Blindspots You Have…

When I was in my 20s, I thought the more I learned, the more correct I had to be in arguments. Not the case I have come to find out BECAUSE in fact, the more you learn, the more blindspots you end up having and you search for information to reaffirm your beliefs. Knowledge IS like an island, the greater your knowledge, the more surface area there is for you to be attacked about your ideals. And rightfully so because you’re not seeing the other INFINITE viewpoints. When I learned this, it not only blew my mind, but changed my life.
