Make Sure You Customize Each Query Letter, Pitch, Job App, Etc…

I know people who complain because they send out so many inquiries to people yet never get a positive response. And the #1 reason I see this happening once we examine it, is because what they send out is generic. It’s a template they’ve created and they just change the name at the top. Who receiving this is going to react well to this? Would you? People are smart. They know it’s generic. They know when you’re just spraying and praying. Instead, customize each of your query letters, pitches, job applications, etc. It’s way more time consuming but yields far better results, even if the answer is no. In this episode I give some insights into how I approach this.
