Oh Yes – Reading of a Poem by Charles Bukowski…

In this lesson, I wanted to read a Charles Bukowski poem that I often revisit. It’s had a lot of impact on my and whenever I read it to someone else, it has the same level of significance, although perhaps in different ways. The poem is extremely short, but there’s power in its brevity. After listening to it, I’d love to know what you thought of it. To review in text form, the poem goes:

there are worse things than

being alone

but it often takes decades

to realize this

and most often

when you do

it’s too late

and there’s nothing worse

too late.
