Past Projects Set You Up For Future Success – 11/21/2022: A Phil Svitek Vlog…

I’ve witnessed many people never begin or finish a project because they feared it wouldn’t be good enough. By whose standards? Yes, everything I’ve done in my life has room for improvement, but I’ve also given them my all and that’s what allows me to learn and grow. More importantly, that’s what brings about new opportunities. People see what my team and I are capable of and know that with more resources, we could achieve even more. That’s the position I happily find myself in as I tackle a major project, which is writing/producing/directing a trio of fantasy animated movies. In many ways, this endeavor feels beyond me. But that’s what’s exciting. And more importantly, I’m a firm believer that those who step up ARE deserving of the endeavor. So I share the steps I’m taking to make everything happen. Also, as a reminder, my team and I will be doing a panel at this year’s LA Comic Con called How to Produce A Low Budget Indie Film Without Sacrificing Ambition & Scope. It’ll take place Saturday, Dec 3rd at noon in room 405. I round things off with a few quick updates and tips too.
