Script Rewrites Continue, GRAMMYs Event, Radical Responsibility, AI Tools & More – 6/19/2023: Vlog…
In this vlog, I catch you up on everything’s that’s been happening creatively and what I’ve been thinking about lately. But firstly, I inform you of two publications that interviewed me: ShoutOut LA (https://shoutoutla.com/meet-phil-svitek-filmmaker-producer-360-creative-coach/) & CanvasRebel (https://canvasrebel.com/meet-phil-svitek/). Secondly, I announce a special screening event for a movie that I’d love to see called “Lonely Castle In The Mirror” (https://gkids.com/films/lonely-castle-in-the-mirror/?gad=1&gclid=CjwKCAjw-b-kBhB-EiwA4fvKrKc7_RLjgW7hgld7ZPLcM96ACI_4Bh9Pn_cYgrwkhowrLccBF21AdBoCD_IQAvD_BwE). After that, we get into the nuts and bolts, as they say. I share how I’m keeping both the micro and macro in mind while rewriting my latest script. For full details on that process, check out: https://philsvitek.com/story-character-beat-sheet-to-track-plot-threads-motivations/. I talk about a fun event I went to put on by the Recording Academy, where I learned so much about music production in one day and met cool artists. Then, I reflect back on the one year anniversary of the premiere of A Bogota Trip. Shifting gears, I discuss the term “radical responsibility” (https://www.instagram.com/reel/CtfCqOtsrnK/?utm_source=ig_web_copy_link&igshid=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==) and how I’m thinking about it. Finally, I chat briefly about AI and share a directory website that lists all of the AI tools out there (https://www.futurepedia.io/). So check out this episode and please share your thoughts down in the comment section or hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek.
