Support Those Who Support You – 9/7/2020: A Phil Svitek Vlog…

Welcome to my vlog! This episode is a deep dive of creative projects and life in general. I open up with my #PitMad experience from last week which leads to the discussion of cultivating a group of friends that support you and that you can support in return. Part of how you get there is realizing and defining your priorities so you know what to say no to. Then I talk about the boiling frog fable and how it relates to the California wildfires. It opens the door to think about personal responsibility. Part of what I’m trying to do is do more phone banks and also become a poll worker to do my part for the election. After that, I transition back to the creative and talk about how artists need to shut off the critical part of the brain when creating. All this and more.
