There Is Never Going to be An Ideal Day for You to be Creative…
Many times in the past I would schedule creative sessions for one long weekend so I’d be unbothered by other things. Or I’d consider other ideal conditions to be creative, thinking this was solve mental blocks. I have come to learn that this is the domain of the amateur. There are no ideal circumstances for being creative. It really comes down to routine and habit. Putting in consistent work, even if just 30 minutes a day, will yield far greater results for you creatively than one long weekend here and there. This is the concept I highlight and unpack within the episode. For even more info, check out Steven Pressfield’s books (such as The War of Art or Do The Work). Please be sure to comment with any thoughts or questions you may have. Or hit me up on social media @PhilSvitek. I’d love to hear from you!
