You Can Either Learn It And Do It Yourself Or You Can Pay Someone To Do It For You…

Whether you’re an indie artists or an entrepreneur who just launched a start up, you have essentially two options: you can either learn something and do it yourself or you can pay someone to do it for you. There of course exists a spectrum within the two and there are trade offs along that entire spectrum (as there are with all things in life). However, you’d be surprised how many people don’t want to spend the time learning something AND don’t want to pay anyone else to do it. In fact, they expect that because of their talents, or their idea/product, people with line up to support them with labor and finances. That’s not how it works. Certainly not initially. People generally come once they know it’s proven and they can get a return. Fighting against this notion slows down artists’ progress and makes them very unhappy. Don’t be that way.
