You Don’t Become Courageous, You Get Opportunities to Be Courageous & You Must Take Them…

I see and meet a lot of people who say they want to exemplify some virtue but the fact is that when presented with an opportunity they don’t take it. That’s because they don’t recognize the fact that any virtue can only be displayed through action, not by talking or wishing it. Take courage. If you want to be courageous, you have to in essence overcome dangerous things. And if that’s truly your desire, life will give you those opportunities. It’s up to you to see them and take them. I talk about this and then extend it to what it means for us as artists.
