Zemberovce Fire Brigade: Training Day…

In Slovakia, not every town has its own fire department. Instead, they have volunteer fire brigades. This video showcases Zemberovce’s fire brigade in a slice of life moment as they train at the soccer stadium, running through a drill that not only prepares them for emergencies, but is also part of a nationwide competition to determine which brigade is the fastest. All the equipment needs to be setup according to competition protocol. Everything has to be measured precisely before they can run through the drill. If, during a competition, they failed to get things properly placed they would be disqualified. And everyone has a role to play.
